| Review: | We have just tried the cleaner out on our living room carpet, and were astonished at the amount of dirt and pet hair extracted, and the condition of the carpet afterwards. Previously this carpet had been treated with other machines, and we had assumed that it had been cleaned well. (Our mistake!). We had no trouble with the instructions, they were pretty straight forward, which was a welcome change. The storage tanks for water and cleaning formula did require constant replenishment, (3 times for a 5 x 4 yard carpet). However, we had the machine on the highest setting, travelled quite slowly. and assume that in future, (On a lower setting), the liquids will last much longer. There appears to be many retailers for the cleaning formula, and resupply is not a problem. Refilling posed no particular problems either, so this was a minor disadvantage. All in all, we are highly satisfied with the product, and look forward to a long and happy association with our new carpet cleaner. Many Thanks, |

| Review: | This cleaner is heavy to push, although manufacturer says let it do the work-it does need to be pushed in order to do that!Hence bad back ache still 1 week on.
Although flat carpets came up ok, and almost dry by
evening, we had a problem with berber bedroom carpet, in that the cleaner did not comprehend to collecting water between spaces in the carpet. So we resorted to putting bath towels down to walk on. (Extra laundry) The carpet finally dried after about 2 days with the aid of central heating . So overall it did do a good job, but was stubborn on the berber carpet. I didn't know it had a temperment!! Read leaflet instructions over and over but could not find advice for alternative carpet types. I'm sure it's a machine designed to tackle any carpet pile but maybe it wasn't tested sufficiently on berber pile. Also the side tool holder is of a very thin plastic which jutted out, so had to be very careful of knocking it into anything (even a wall)in case it got damaged or even snapped off. So maybe a design fault. Have not used attachments so far so unable to comment on profiency. You did ask for my opinion and I've answered honestly. We previously owned a vax (old type) which was cumbersome and didn't require as much effort to cart around. I would recommend it only for flat pile carpets. |

| Review: | This is without doubt one of the best purchases I have ever made. On the advice of a friend who uses a similar machine by Bissell, I made sure that I did not put too much water on the carpet when washing and the results have been astounding. The carpet is dry enough to walk on straight away, and I am amazed at how much grit and dirt was removed from my regularly vacuumed carpet. The pile on all of my carpets has been rejuvenated, and although this seems like a wild claim, my asthma seems to be bothering me less (my doctor says this could be due to the Bissell removing dust mites and pollen that my normal vacuum cant get to). I am not one for making a big deal about products, but this is the best purchase I have made in years. Highly recommended!!! |
