Review:	The Electrolux EFP90033X is at the budget end for 90cm telescopic hoods in what is a limited market but looks and performs like something more expensive. Once fitted it is almost invisible when not in use, hidden behind the optional planted pelmet (not supplied). It would look cool and anonymous with the supplied stainless steel fascia but we prefered to hide it. Light and fan are activated by pulling forward the pelmet. Noise levels are very acceptable even at the highest of the three settings, with much less vibration than you might experience with a chimney hood, the motor being encased within a neat white enclosure that takes up only a portion of the space in the cabinet above. Controls are basic sliders on the top side of the telescopic part. Depending on the height the underside of your wall units, and your own height these may be out of view but that isn't a problem as they are quite chunky and easy to operate by touch. The two lamps are low-energy flourescent type and give a slightly yellow light compared to our adjacent halogen downlighters. The grease traps are easily removed and small enough to fit easily in a dishwasher. A very satisfactory purchase.
