| Review: | The service from Appliance Planet was excellent, so this moan is about the product itself. It is a set of charcoal filters to fit inside a Smeg cooker hood if you aren't able to have the fumes ducted to an outside wall. They are awkward to fit (I still don't know if I have them on right), with one set of installation instructions included with the product but a differing set in the cooker hood's booklet. Since I still got a haze of smoke in the kitchen when I attempted a fried breakfast for a guest my conclusion is that I have bought a rather stylish, and expensive, bit of kit that doesn't actually do very much (if anything). It should NOT be necessary to reach up inside the dark recesses of the hood with a torch in one hand and a mucky charcoal cylinder in the other, just to mount a pair of filters! |
